Android is the most flexible platform for Moa TV. There are two kinds of Android device, and they use different apps.
Android TV and Google TV devices
Android TV boxes, the Google TV Streamer, the NVIDIA Shield and TVs with Google TV built in all run TiviMate, the app we recommend. Install it from the Google Play Store, sign in to the TiviMate Premium account we activate for you, and add your Moa TV login.
Good choices for Moa TV:
- Google TV Streamer: 4K, fast and simple.
- NVIDIA Shield TV: powerful, with excellent 4K playback and storage for recordings.
- Android TV boxes from known brands, with a recent Android TV version and Play Store certification.
Avoid uncertified boxes with modified software: they’re often slow, rarely updated and can carry security risks.
Android phones and tablets
TiviMate is designed for TV screens and isn’t intended for phones. On a phone or tablet, use an Android IPTV player that supports the Xtream Codes login. We’ll recommend one in your welcome email. You get live channels, the TV guide and the on-demand library on the go.
Setup in short
- Install TiviMate (TV devices) or the recommended player (phones and tablets).
- Add your Moa TV login: server address, username and password.
- Wait for channels, the guide and the library to load.

Android questions
Can I use TiviMate on my phone?
TiviMate is built for Android TV. A mobile IPTV player gives a better experience on phones and tablets.
Does Moa TV work on mobile data?
Yes, but streaming uses a lot of data: roughly 1 to 3 GB an hour in HD. Use Wi-Fi where you can.
Can I cast from my phone to the TV?
Some players support casting, but running the app directly on a TV device is smoother for live TV.
