A computer is handy for watching at a desk, in a home office or while traveling. Moa TV works on Windows PCs and Macs with a desktop IPTV player.
Options
- A desktop IPTV player that supports the Xtream Codes login. You get live channels, the TV guide and the on-demand library in one window. We’ll recommend a current player for your system in your welcome email.
- VLC media player for a quick test: in VLC, choose Media → Open Network Stream (on Mac: File → Open Network), paste your M3U link and press Play. VLC plays channels but has no proper TV guide, so it’s best for testing.
Setting up a desktop player
- Install the desktop IPTV player we recommend for your system.
- Choose to add a playlist or a user, and pick Xtream Codes as the login type.
- Enter your Moa TV server address, username and password from your welcome email or My subscription.
- Save and wait for the channels, the TV guide and the on-demand library to load.
If the player only accepts M3U links, paste the M3U link from your email instead, and add the EPG link in the player’s guide settings.
Tips for computers
- Use a wired connection or strong Wi-Fi for Full HD.
- Connect to a TV with an HDMI cable to watch on the big screen.
- Close the app on your other devices first; a standard line plays on one screen at a time.
Computer questions
Can I watch in a web browser?
Most IPTV streams play best in a dedicated player. A desktop player gives a smoother picture and a TV guide.
Does TiviMate run on Windows or Mac?
TiviMate is made for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, so use a desktop player on computers.
Which login should I use?
Use the Xtream Codes login (server, username and password) wherever possible. The M3U link is for players that don’t support it.
