The electronic program guide (EPG) is what makes Moa TV feel like real TV. Instead of a long list of channel names, you get a grid with every program, its start time and a short description, just like a cable guide.
What the guide shows
- Now and next on every channel.
- The schedule for the coming days, so you can plan ahead.
- Program details: title, description, episode information and, where available, artwork.
- Catch-up markers on channels where you can go back to earlier shows. See catch-up TV.
The guide in TiviMate
TiviMate is known for its TV guide, and Premium (activated free with every plan) adds even more:
- A full-screen grid with categories down the side.
- Reminders: pick a program and TiviMate tells you when it starts.
- Recording of upcoming programs straight from the guide.
- Search across the guide by program name.
With the Xtream Codes login, the guide data loads automatically with your channels. Our TV guide tips show how to tidy it up.
When the guide looks wrong
- Times are off by an hour or more: check your device’s time zone first, then adjust the EPG time shift in TiviMate’s settings for your Moa TV playlist.
- A channel shows no listings: some channels have no guide data from the broadcaster. Refresh the EPG under Settings → EPG → Update EPG.
- The guide is empty after setup: give it a few minutes on first load, then update the EPG.
EPG questions
Is the TV guide included in every plan?
Yes. Guide data is included with every plan.
How far ahead does the guide go?
Usually several days, depending on the channel and the data the broadcaster provides.
Do other players show the guide too?
Most good IPTV players support EPG. With the Xtream Codes login they load it automatically; with an M3U playlist you may need to add the EPG link from your welcome email.
