On Apple devices you watch Moa TV in an IPTV player from the App Store. TiviMate isn’t available for Apple devices, but a good iOS player gives you live channels, the TV guide and the on-demand library. Setup takes a few minutes.
iPhone and iPad
- Open the App Store and install the IPTV player recommended in your welcome email.
- Open the player and choose Add playlist, Add user or Login (the wording depends on the player).
- Choose Xtream Codes (sometimes called *server login* or *API*).
- Enter your Moa TV server address, username and password exactly as shown.
- Save and wait while the channels, the TV guide and the library load.
Copy and paste the details from My subscription on the same device to avoid typos.
Apple TV
- On Apple TV, open the App Store and install the recommended player.
- Open it and choose to add a playlist or login.
- Many players let you add your login from your iPhone or a web page by scanning a QR code, which is much quicker than typing with the remote.
- Save and wait for the channels to load.
For live sport on Apple TV 4K, use Ethernet and turn on Match Frame Rate in Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content.
Getting the most from the player
- Turn on the TV guide (EPG) in the player’s settings if it isn’t on by default.
- Use catch-up where the player supports it. See catch-up TV.
- Lower the quality on mobile data to save data; switch back to Full HD on Wi-Fi.
iOS troubleshooting
- “Login failed”: check the server address, including http:// and any port number, and that there are no extra spaces.
- No channels: check your plan is active in My subscription and reload the playlist.
- No guide: refresh the EPG in the player and check your time zone.
iOS setup questions
Is the player free?
Many players are free with optional paid features. Any purchase goes to the player’s developer, not to us.
Which login type should I choose?
Choose Xtream Codes wherever it’s offered. Use the M3U link only if the player doesn’t support Xtream Codes.
Can I use AirPlay instead of an Apple TV app?
Yes, but running the player on Apple TV directly is smoother for live TV.
