MAG boxes are dedicated IPTV set-top boxes with their own remote and a TV-style interface. They don’t use an app or a username; instead, your box’s MAC address is registered with Moa TV and the box connects through a portal link.
Before you order
Find your MAC address on the sticker underneath the box, or on the box’s screen under Settings → System settings → Device info (wording varies by model). It looks like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. Enter it in the MAC address field at checkout. If you’ve already ordered, send it to us from Contact us.
Setting up the portal
- Turn on the box and open Settings (on many models, press SETUP on the remote).
- Go to System settings → Servers → Portals.
- In Portal 1 name, type Moa TV.
- In Portal 1 URL, enter the portal link from your welcome email exactly as shown.
- Save, go back and choose Restart portal.
The box loads the Moa TV portal with live TV, the TV guide and the on-demand library.
Supported MAG models
Current and recent models such as the MAG 322, MAG 324, MAG 424, MAG 524 and MAG 540 work well. Older models may be slower and may not play 4K or newer video formats.
MAG questions
Can I use TiviMate on a MAG box?
No. MAG boxes use their own portal interface. TiviMate runs on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV.
I replaced my MAG box. What do I do?
Send us the new MAC address and we’ll move your subscription to the new box.
The portal says “STB blocked” or won’t load.
Check the MAC address we have matches the box exactly, then restart the portal. If it still won’t load, open a support ticket.
