How to set up Moa TV on Android

Android comes in two flavors, and each uses a different app. Pick the section for your device.

Android TV boxes and Google TV devices

Google TV Streamer, NVIDIA Shield, certified Android TV boxes and TVs with Google TV built in all run TiviMate.

1. Open the Google Play Store on the device.
2. Search for TiviMate IPTV Player and install it.
3. Open TiviMate, go to Settings → Unlock Premium → Account and sign in with the TiviMate account from your welcome email. Name the device and choose Activate.
4. Choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes login.
5. Enter your Moa TV server address, username and password, then choose Next.
6. Name the playlist Moa TV and choose Done.

Android phones and tablets

TiviMate is designed for TV screens, so on phones and tablets use the mobile IPTV player we recommend in your welcome email.

1. Install the recommended player from the Google Play Store.
2. Open it and choose Add user, Add playlist or Login with Xtream Codes (the wording depends on the player).
3. Enter your Moa TV server address, username and password.
4. Save, and wait for channels and the guide to load.

Copy the details from My subscription on the same phone to avoid typing mistakes.

Tips for Android

• Use Wi-Fi on phones and tablets when you can; HD streaming uses roughly 1 to 3 GB an hour.
• Keep the app updated from the Play Store.
• Avoid uncertified boxes with modified software; they’re often slow and rarely updated.

Android troubleshooting

• “Login failed”: check the server address includes everything shown, including http:// and the port number if there is one.
• No TV guide: update the guide in the player’s settings and check the device’s time zone.
• Picture stutters: try a larger buffer in the player’s settings and move closer to the router, or use a cable.

Can I use the same login on my TV box and my phone?

Yes. Install the app on both. A standard line plays on one screen at a time.

Does TiviMate Premium work on my phone?

TiviMate is made for Android TV, so we recommend a mobile player on phones and tablets.

My TV box doesn’t have the Play Store. What now?

Uncertified boxes can usually install apps from an APK file, but they’re often unreliable. A certified Google TV device is the safer choice.
