In this guide
A lineup of 8,000+ channels is great until you have to scroll through it with a remote. Ten minutes in TiviMate’s settings turns that long list into a guide that shows only what your household watches. Here’s how.
Step 1: Hide the groups you never watch
Your Moa TV playlist arrives in groups by category and country. Most households only need a handful of them.
- In the channel list, highlight a group you don’t need, press and hold OK, and choose to hide it.
- You can also manage groups for the whole playlist from TiviMate’s playlist settings.
- Hidden groups aren’t deleted. You can show them again at any time.
Hiding groups also makes the guide load and scroll faster on streaming sticks.
Step 2: Build your favorites
Favorites are the heart of a good TiviMate setup.
- Highlight a channel you watch often.
- Press and hold OK and add it to favorites.
- Repeat for your everyday channels, then open the Favorites group and arrange them in the order you like.
Some families create several favorites groups, such as *News*, *Sport* and *Kids*. Favorites management is a TiviMate Premium feature, included free with your plan.
Step 3: Make the guide show the right times
If programs look an hour or more out of step:
- Check your device’s time zone in its system settings first.
- If the device is right but one source is still off, adjust the EPG time shift in TiviMate’s settings for your Moa TV playlist.
The guide data comes with your login when you use the Xtream Codes login type. See adding your login to TiviMate.
Step 4: Keep the guide up to date
- TiviMate updates the guide automatically. You can also update it by hand from Settings → EPG.
- If a channel shows *No information*, the broadcaster may not provide guide data for it.
- After first setup, give the guide a few minutes to download completely.
Step 5: Make it look the way you like
Under Settings → Appearance you can change the guide layout, how many channels appear on screen and how program details are shown. A slightly smaller guide fits more channels on screen, which suits large favorites groups.
Step 6: Keep children’s viewing separate
With Settings → Parental control you can set a PIN and lock whole groups, so younger viewers only open what you allow. Pair it with a *Kids* favorites group for an easy, safe setup. See kids channels.
Save your setup
Once everything is just right, use TiviMate’s backup feature in Settings to save your configuration. If you set up another device or reinstall, you can restore it in a minute.
