In this guide
Missed the start of a match or the episode everyone’s talking about? Moa TV gives you two ways to watch what you missed: catch-up TV on supported channels, and recording with TiviMate Premium, which every plan includes free. They solve slightly different problems.
Catch-up TV in a nutshell
Channels with catch-up keep recent programs available on the server for a set number of days. In the TV guide, scroll back in time on a channel marked with the catch-up icon and press play. You don’t need to plan ahead, and nothing is stored on your device.
Recording in a nutshell
With TiviMate Premium you can record any program to your device’s storage or a USB drive, either as it airs or scheduled from the guide, including recurring recordings for a series. You need to plan ahead, but you can keep the recording as long as you like.

When to use catch-up
- You started a match late and want to watch from kickoff.
- You missed yesterday’s news or an episode that aired earlier in the week.
- You don’t want to fill your device with recordings.
When to record
- The channel doesn’t offer catch-up.
- You want to keep a program for longer than the catch-up period.
- You’ll be away when a program airs and want it waiting for you.
Good to know about recording
- Storage: a Fire TV Stick has little space, so add a USB drive with an OTG adapter or use a device with USB ports, such as an NVIDIA Shield.
- Connections: a recording is a stream. With a standard line, you can’t record one channel while watching another at the same time. Ask us about extra connections if you need that.
- Reminders are a lighter alternative: TiviMate alerts you when a program starts.
And on demand?
For films and complete series, the on-demand library is the simplest option: no planning, no storage, and every title starts whenever you like.
