Paying with Bitcoin is easier than it sounds. If you’ve never done it, this checklist takes you from zero to a confirmed payment for your Moa TV subscription. It takes about 15 minutes the first time, and a couple of minutes after that.
Before you start
You need two things: some Bitcoin, and an app that can send it. That’s either an exchange account (where you buy crypto) or a wallet app (where you hold it yourself). Many people use an exchange or payment app that lets them buy and send Bitcoin in one place.
If you don’t hold any crypto yet and just want to pay, USDT can be simpler, because its value stays at the dollar price. The steps are very similar.
Step 1: Get a little more Bitcoin than the price
On the Moa TV payment page, the price is converted into BTC at the current rate. Buy slightly more than that amount, because sending Bitcoin costs a network fee and exchanges may charge a withdrawal fee.
Step 2: Start your order
Choose your plan, check out, and select Bitcoin (BTC). The payment page shows:
- the exact BTC amount, locked for a limited time;
- our Bitcoin address;
- a QR code containing both.
Step 3: Send the payment
In your exchange or wallet, choose Send or Withdraw, then Bitcoin.
- Scan the QR code or paste our address with the copy button. Never type an address by hand.
- Choose the Bitcoin network if asked. Not Lightning, not BNB Smart Chain.
- Enter the exact amount, to the last digit. If the app takes the fee from the amount you enter, add the fee so we receive the full figure.
- Choose a normal or fast fee if your wallet offers a choice. The cheapest fee can leave a payment waiting for hours.
- Review and confirm.
Step 4: Paste your transaction ID
Every payment gets a unique transaction ID (TXID), a long string of letters and numbers. Find it in your app’s history, open the payment and look for *Transaction ID*, *TXID* or *Hash*. Copy it and paste it on the payment page. Our guide to transaction IDs shows where popular apps put it.
Some exchanges take a while to send a withdrawal; the transaction ID appears once they have.
Step 5: Wait for confirmation
Bitcoin confirms in blocks, which arrive about every 10 minutes on average. The payment page checks the blockchain and updates by itself. Once your payment has its confirmation, we activate your line and TiviMate Premium and email your details.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Sending less than the amount shown. The payment can’t be matched automatically and we’ll have to contact you about the difference.
- Sending after the quote expired. If the timer runs out, refresh the quote on the payment page before sending.
- Using the wrong network. “BTC” on BNB Smart Chain or wrapped bitcoin on Ethereum doesn’t reach a Bitcoin address.
- Sharing your recovery phrase. Nobody legitimate will ever ask for it, including us.
